NISE – Suryamitra
National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is an Autonomous Institute of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. NISE is mandated as the nodal agency for implementation of Suryamitra Skill Development Programme (SSDP). SSDP aims to develop the skills of youth, considering the opportunities for employment in the growing Solar Energy Power Projects installation, operation & maintenance in India and abroad. The SSDP is also designed to prepare the candidates to become new entrepreneurs in Solar Energy sector. This is a 600 hours residential skill development program following the Qualification Pack of SCG/Q0101.
The qualification of participants shall be- ITI / Diploma (Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, Fitter, Instrumentation, Welder). Special emphasis to be given to the persons coming from rural background, unemployed youth, women, SC/ST candidates. The candidates would be provided boarding and lodging facilities at the training center by the TP. At the end of the course, proper assessment shall be made and certificates shall be issued by Skill Council of Green Jobs. Persons with higher qualifications like degree in any discipline or higher are strictly not eligible.
We have training 360 candidates across telagana.
Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM)
The Scheme aims at enhancing the skilling capacities in ESDM sector through public and private sector for students/unemployed youth belonging to other disciplines by utilizing the existing human resource who are undergoing studies in schools (IX standard onwards)/ITIs/Polytechnics/UG Colleges (non-engineering) and the school drop outs/unemployed youth by providing them with additional skills that are recognized by industry for employment in ESDM sector.
So far we have trained 276 candidates in this sector.
Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs
NULM acts a convergence between different schemes/programmes of the relevant line Ministries/Departments and programmes of state governments dealing with skills, livelihoods, entrepreneurship development, health, education, social assistance, etc. An alliance strategy with all concerned departments to promote skills training of rural-urban migrants and act as a bridge between the livelihoods of the rural and urban poor. NULM has also partnered with the private sector in providing skill training and employment for homeless. It strives on active participation of private and civil society sectors in providing shelter to these urban homeless, and to train them in necessary skills to be a part of a self-employed, technological and growing skilled India. RISE closely work with the State Governments to implement NULM.
We have received a target of 360 candidates for New skilling in IPSC (Indian Plumbing Sector Skill Council) (2020-2021)
